Proven experience as a Welder, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a relevant role.

Proficiency in various welding techniques and processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick welding).

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.

Skilled in using welding equipment and tools safely and effectively.

Strong understanding of metal properties and joint preparation.

Experience working with different types of metals and alloys.

Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and quality standards in all welding operations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing or construction environment.

Good physical condition and manual dexterity to perform welding tasks.

Familiarity with basic maintenance of welding equipment.

Perform welding operations according to blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders using various welding techniques such as SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW.

Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and deburring to ensure proper adhesion and weld quality.

Inspect welds for defects such as porosity, cracks, and incomplete fusion, and perform necessary repairs.

Operate and maintain welding equipment, including power sources, wire feeders, torches, and safety gear, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.

Read and interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings to accurately position and assemble components for welding.
