Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a café, restaurant, or catering kitchen.
Able to prepare food in both small-batch café service and large-volume catering production.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOPs.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required for catering events.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook café menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.
Plan, prepare, and execute food production for catering orders and events.
Ensure food presentation, taste, portion size, and quality are consistent.
Monitor food preparation timelines to ensure timely service and catering delivery.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in accordance with company SOPs.
Monitor stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and prepare purchase requisitions when necessary.
Minimise food wastage through proper storage, stock rotation (FIFO), and portion control.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any faults immediately.
Assist in developing new menu items and seasonal promotions.
Supervise and guide kitchen assistants or junior kitchen staff when required.
Comply with all company policies, health regulations, and safety requirements.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
