Job Description

Requirements

  • Our company is a private company, but majority customer are from government, hence familiar with Eperolehan system is an added advantage

  • Proven track record in IT hardware sales, specifically within the Malaysian government sector.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct sales experience, demonstrating consistent achievement of sales targets.

  • In-depth understanding of IT hardware products and solutions relevant to government procurement needs.

  • Proficiency in navigating and utilizing the E-Perolehan system for government tenders and sales processes; Bumiputera are encouraged to apply.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, particularly in Bahasa Malaysia.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with government clients and key stakeholders.

  • Experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans to penetrate and grow market share within the government sector.

  • Understanding of the IT industry, especially concerning printers, copiers, toner, and ink, is an advantage.

  • Diploma qualification or equivalent relevant experience in sales or technical fields.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve government sector IT hardware sales targets within the assigned region.

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with government agencies, understanding their specific IT infrastructure needs and procurement processes.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within government departments, including procurement officers and IT managers.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals for IT hardware solutions.

  • Leverage expertise in the Eperolehan system to efficiently navigate government tender processes and ensure timely submission of competitive bids.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and present customized IT hardware solutions that align with government requirements and budgetary constraints.

  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the government IT hardware landscape to identify new sales avenues and product opportunities.

  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with all government procurement regulations and company policies throughout the sales process.

  • Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance company visibility and generate leads within the government sector.
