WE ARE HIRING – Forklift Cum Lorry Driver
JJob Description
- Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, stack, and transport materials within the warehouse or project site.
- Drive company lorries to deliver and collect goods according to the assigned schedule.
- Perform daily vehicle and forklift inspections to ensure both are in safe working condition.
- Ensure proper loading, unloading, and securing of cargo to prevent damage during transportation.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, delivery orders (DO), and vehicle logbooks.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing warehouse inventory.
- Follow all company SOPs, road traffic regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
- Report any vehicle, forklift, or equipment defects to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic housekeeping of the assigned vehicle, forklift, and work area.
- Support warehouse and logistics operations as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Malaysian citizen or legally eligible to work in Malaysia.
- Minimum secondary school qualification (SPM) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating both forklifts and lorries is preferred.
- Possess a valid Malaysian Competent Driving Licence (CDL) with the appropriate vehicle class.
- Possess a valid Goods Driving Licence (GDL) issued by JPJ for commercial goods vehicles. A GDL is required for commercial lorry drivers and applicants must generally be at least 21 years old, hold a valid CDL, pass a medical examination, and complete the required vocational training and tests.
- Hold a valid forklift competency certificate from a recognized training provider. In Malaysia, employers are responsible for ensuring forklift operators are trained and competent under occupational safety requirements.
- Good understanding of road safety, warehouse safety, and material handling procedures.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials when required.
- Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when operationally required.
- No serious traffic offences or criminal record is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of warehouse inventory and logistics operations.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with delivery documentation and stock handling procedures.
Required Licences in Malaysia
- Valid Competent Driving Licence (CDL) (appropriate class)
- Valid Goods Driving Licence (GDL) for commercial lorry operation
- Valid Forklift Operator Competency Certificate (recognized safety training/certification)

Salary: Negotiable based on experience
