Full Time SITE QUANTITY SURVEYOR Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,000 in Fourth Wave (M) Kedah - Maukerja

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Quantity Surveyor (Site QS) to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs on-site, preparing progress claims, verifying subcontractor work, monitoring project budgets, and ensuring all quantity surveying activities are carried out accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and submit progress claims and payment certificates.
• Measure and value work completed on-site.
• Prepare and evaluate subcontractor claims and payment recommendations.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow.
• Assist in cost estimation, quantity take-off, and variation order (VO) preparation.
• Prepare final accounts and project cost reports.
• Liaise with project managers, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors on commercial matters.
• Ensure proper documentation of contracts, claims, and project records.
• Monitor material usage and minimize project cost overruns.
• Attend site meetings and provide commercial support to the project team.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Site Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience in building, infrastructure, M&E, or construction projects.
• Good knowledge of contracts, measurements, and construction costing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and AutoCAD; knowledge of QS software is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
• Willing to travel or be based at project sites.
