Requirements

Position : Sea Freight Export
Industry: Transport and Logistics
Work Location: Taman Perindustrian Bukit Jelutong, 40150 Shah Alam, Selangor
Work arrangement: Onsite
Employment Type : 6 months contract with PERSOL
Salary: RM3,000 - RM3,700 (based on experience & skills)

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma in Business, Administrative Management, or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in sea freight or freight forwarding (preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email communication
  • Strong coordination, communication, and follow‑up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines effectively
  • Willing to work on weekends and public holidays, when required

Responsibilities

Job Overview

  • Perform the pro-active & comprehensive service to the customer relating to all functions of Ocean freight Export regarding shipment arrangement and communicating with related team members, Shippers, Vendors and Network offices within the set performance standards to achieve operational excellence and total customer satisfaction

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and coordinate Sea Freight Export shipments end‑to‑end, ensuring timely and accurate execution
  • Handle enquiries, bookings, and documentation requests via email and phone from internal and external stakeholders
  • Register shipments accurately in the CW1 forwarding system in compliance with SOPs and policies
  • Update all required internal and external systems with complete and accurate shipment data
  • Coordinate closely with shipping lines, agents, freight forwarders, vendors, customers, and overseas offices
  • Prepare, verify, and manage all export documentation including Bills of Lading, manifests, SOLAS/VGM, and shipping certificates
  • Ensure full compliance for dangerous goods / hazardous cargo documentation and approvals
  • Monitor shipment movements, manage irregularities, and escalate issues when necessary
  • Communicate cargo incidents such as delays, damages, or short shipments to relevant stakeholders
  • Manage invoicing, shipment costing, billing validation, and payment collection in line with KPIs
  • Verify vendor and intercompany invoices and resolve billing disputes promptly
  • Send timely pre‑alerts and shipment updates to customers and destination offices
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation within required timelines
  • Support company projects, initiatives, and continuous improvement activities
