We're looking for a highly motivated and creative Video Editor to help us deliver engaging YouTube videos, social media content, and other visual assets focusing on news, economy, and finance. You'll play a crucial role in transforming complex financial and economic topics into visually compelling and easily digestible content for our Malaysian audience.

Key Requirements:

• Education: A diploma or higher in Media, Graphic Design, Film Production, Broadcasting, Multimedia Arts, or a related field. Practical experience and a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills will be highly considered, even without a formal degree.
• Working Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in video editing, preferably for digital media, content creation, or a news/finance-related company. However, fresh grads with a strong portfolio will also be considered
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Visual Storytelling: A strong understanding of visual storytelling principles, pacing, composition, and color grading.
• Work Ethic & Collaboration: Independent work ethic and effective time management are essential, along with strong collaboration skills, including proactive idea sharing and receptiveness to feedback.
• Language: Must be able to communicate in English, while candidates who are able to speak or understand in basic Mandarin is preferable.

[BONUS] Motion Graphics: Experience with Adobe After Effects or equivalent motion graphics tools is a significant advantage.

• Edit Engaging Content: Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality videos for YouTube and social media platforms, ensuring they align with our brand's style, tone, and visual standards.
• Enhance Visual Storytelling: Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, sound effects, and music to enhance narratives and explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Maintain Visual Quality: Ensure all video content adheres to technical specifications for various platforms (e.g., aspect ratios, resolutions, file sizes).
• Attention to Detail: Meticulously review and refine edits, color grading, and audio mixing to ensure a seamless and professional final product. Your keen eye for detail is crucial for upholding the integrity of our message.
• Collaborate on Production: Work closely with scriptwriters, researchers, and the team from conceptualization through post-production. Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop video concepts and visual approaches.
