Requirements
Proven experience as a Cashier in a Food & Beverage (F&B) setting, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a similar role.
Proficiency in handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including managing floats, processing payments, and providing change.
Experience operating Point of Sale (POS) systems, including order entry, payment processing, and end-of-day reconciliation.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor, capable of engaging with diverse clientele and resolving customer inquiries or complaints promptly.
Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively interact with customers and team members.
A good understanding of food and beverage products, including menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens, to assist customers with orders and recommendations.
High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order taking, billing, and inventory management.
Basic math skills for calculations related to sales, discounts, and change.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure during peak hours.
Willingness to work full-time hours at the onsite location in Jalan PJS 11/9, Subang Jaya, Selangor.
Responsibilities
Accurately process customer orders and payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods with a high degree of accuracy and integrity, providing correct change when necessary.
Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, answering questions about food and beverage offerings and making recommendations.
Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, including restocking supplies, tidying the counter area, and ensuring promotional materials are up-to-date.
Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, communicating any special customer requests or dietary needs.
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring the cleanliness of the work area and proper handling of food and beverages.
Manage end-of-shift cash reconciliation, accurately counting the drawer and preparing deposit slips as per company procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.
