Full Time Application Security Specialist Jobs, Salary up to MYR 10,000 in Manpower Staffing Services (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. Selangor - Maukerja

Minimum 3 years of experience in Application Security or Cybersecurity

Strong knowledge of:

• Web & Application Security (OWASP Top 10)

• Vulnerability Assessment & Remediation

• Static & Dynamic Code Analysis

Able to interpret security scanning and penetration testing reports

Basic knowledge of Python or other scripting languages

Familiar with cybersecurity tools such as:

• Firewalls

• IDS/IPS

• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

• Cloud Security solutions

Good understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams

• Review application designs and architectures to ensure security best practices are followed

• Provide security guidance to developers throughout the application development lifecycle

• Conduct application security testing, including code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration test analysis

• Identify security risks and recommend effective remediation solutions

• Monitor emerging cyber threats and implement appropriate security measures

• Support the implementation of security tools, policies, and frameworks

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application security

• Develop and maintain automation for security-related processes

• Track and report security metrics and performance

• Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks such as OWASPandNIST
