Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in MIG welding and fabrication works;
- Have valid 2G or 3G welding certification;
- Language: Malay, English, Chinese (Optional);
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols;
- Knowledge of welding quality standards and inspection requirements;
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality;
- Ability to operate grinders, cutting torches, and fabrication tools;
- Good teamwork and communication skills;
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding in 2G (Horizontal) and 3G (Vertical) positions on carbon steel and structural components;
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication details;
- Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, grinding, fitting, and aligning components before welding;
- Set up and operate MIG welding machines, tools, and related equipment;
- Inspect welds to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards;
- Repair defective welds and perform grinding and finishing works where required;
- Conduct routine maintenance and care of welding equipment;
- Work closely with supervisors, inspectors, and fabrication teams to meet project schedules;
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and comply with company HSE policies;
