Role Summary

The Dealer Development Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the development, performance, and operational effectiveness of Volt Auto Malaysia’s Dealer Network. This role ensures dealers meet  Dongfeng standards in sales, aftersales, customer satisfaction, and brand representation while driving network growth and continuous improvement.

Tanggungjawab

Key Responsibilities

1. Dealer Network Development & Appointment & On-boarding

· Involved in the end-to-end dealership development process including dealer recruitment, evaluation, and appointment.

· Support management in identifying potential dealer partners aligned with Volt Auto’s business direction.

· Assist in dealership on-boarding, contract documentation, and operational readiness.

2. Dealer Performance Tracking & Monitoring KPIs

· Track dealer performance against KPIs such as sales retail/wholesale volume, market penetration, customer retention, aftersales car parc. CSI metrics, RoS etc

· Prepare regular dealer performance reports and highlight improvement areas.

· Conduct dealer audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to company policies and standards and procedures.

3. Dealer Training & Skill Sets Upgrading

· Plan and conduct training programs for dealer teams including sales, service, customer service, product knowledge, business management etc

· Coordinate dealer training workshops, engagement sessions, continuous learning initiatives, dealer annual or semi-annual conferences.

· Ensure dealership staff are aligned with Volt Auto Malaysia’s processes and service standards.

4. Familiarity with Dealer Management System (DMS)

· Be familiar and have a working knowledge of the various modules of Dealer Management System (DMS) software.

·  Support dealers in troubleshooting and escalation of technical issues to the DMS Vendor.

· Monitor accuracy and completeness of dealer operational data captured in the system.

· Work with internal teams to improve system adoption and reporting.

5. CRM & Customer Lead Management

· Support CRM implementation and dealer usage to strengthen customer engagement and retention and mapping of whole customer journey from enquiry to final purchase.

· Manage customer satisfaction initiatives including development of a Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) for both Sales and Aftersales.

· Track customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery performance at dealer level.

· Ensuring that all Dealers have a clear Customer Complaint Process and Escalation procedure until final case close.

6. Dealer Standards & Brand Compliance

· Ensure dealerships comply with corporate identity, showroom standards, and brand guidelines.

· Support dealership facility upgrades, signage, and customer lounge improvements where necessary.

· Dealer CI compliance to all social media outputs and public engagements as per Volt Auto Malaysia prevailing guidelines

7. Sales & Aftersales Support Coordination

· Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and After-sales teams to ensure dealer readiness for campaigns, launches, and promotions.

· Assist dealers in implementing tactical sales & after-sales activities and assist in local marketing plans.

8. Dealer Relationship Management

· Build strong working relationships with dealer principals and key stakeholders.

· Act as a liaison between Volt Auto Malaysia HQ and dealer network to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.

9. Market Intelligence & Network Expansion

· Monitor competitor dealer activities and market trends.

· Provide recommendations on network expansion strategy and dealer territory planning.

10. Continuous Improvement & Process Enhancement

· Identify operational gaps within dealer network and propose process improvements.

· Support implementation of best practices to enhance dealer profitability and customer satisfaction.

11.  Ad hoc Planning and related Network Activities

Any other Network related work  to strategize, enhance and optimise the Dealer Network in terms of   execution and operational efficiency.
