Full Time Cabinet - Interior Designer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,000 in MYR Construction Kelantan - Maukerja

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive Cabinet & Interior Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing custom cabinetry and interior furniture, preparing technical production drawings, generating CNC production files, and ensuring smooth coordination between the Sales, Production, and Installation teams.

Key Responsibilities Design & Customer Consultation

• Prepare detailed 3D cabinet designs using SketchUp.
• Produce realistic renderings using Enscape or V-Ray.
• Review site measurement drawings received from the Sales Team.
• Conduct detailed design discussions with customers.
• Revise designs based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate and conduct site re-measurements after design confirmation.
• Prepare revised quotations for any additional or reduced work.
• Obtain final customer confirmation before production.

Site Coordination

• Visit project sites when required.
• Attend site inspections for customer complaints.
• Assist installers by explaining technical drawings and installation details.
• Coordinate technical matters between production and installation teams.

Costing & Technical Support

• Calculate installer labour costs.
• Source suitable edging materials.
• Assist with government project drawings and production sizing.
• Prepare technical documentation required for production.

Supporting Responsibilities

• Research the latest cabinet and interior design trends.
• Support the Sales Team during customer presentations when required.
• Source suppliers, contractors, and installation teams.
• Monitor material pricing.
• Prepare weekly design and production reports.
• Assist the Production Manager in daily operations.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years experience in cabinet, furniture, interior fit-out, or related industry.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical drawing skills are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
