Education

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.

Experience

• At least 2 years of experiencedriving a5-ton lorry.

• Experience in logistics, warehouse, or transportation industry is an advantage.

Licence Requirements

• Valid Malaysia Class E Driving Licence.

• Valid GDL (Goods Driving Licence).

• Good driving record with no serious traffic offences.

Knowledge & Skills

• Good knowledge of Malaysian roads and traffic regulations.

• Ability to use navigation applications (e.g. Google Maps or Waze).

• Basic understanding of delivery documentation.

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy goods when required.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Responsible, punctual, honest, and safety-conscious.

Driving & Delivery

• Safely operate a 5-ton lorry to transport goods and materials.

• Deliver and collect goods according to the daily delivery schedule.

• Ensure goods are properly loaded, secured, and unloaded to prevent damage.

• Verify delivery orders, invoices, and other transport documents before departure.

• Obtain customer acknowledgement/signature upon delivery.

• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.

• Plan efficient delivery routes while complying with traffic laws and company policies.

Vehicle Maintenance

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the assigned vehicle.

• Monitor fuel usage and report any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements immediately.

• Arrange servicing and repairs as instructed by the supervisor.

Warehouse Support

When there are no driving assignments, the driver shall assist the warehouse team, including but not limited to:

• Loading and unloading goods.

• Packing, wrapping, and labelling products.

• Assisting in stock receiving and stock issuing.

• Performing inventory counting and stock arrangement.

• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping.

• Assisting in moving materials and equipment within the warehouse.

• Supporting warehouse operations during project preparation and mobilisation.

Compliance & Safety

• Comply with all road transport laws and company safety procedures.

• Ensure cargo is transported safely and securely.

• Report accidents, traffic offences, vehicle damage, or delivery issues immediately.

• Follow Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements and company policies.

Other Duties

• Assist with ad hoc logistics or warehouse assignments as directed by management.
