Freelance Freelance Farm Production Assistant Jobs, Salary up to MYR 300 in Wild Sorrel Pahang - Maukerja

• We are seeking a self-motivated individual who can work 1 to 2 days per week visiting our farms in Cameron Highlands, from Ringlet through to Kuala Terla. The successful applicant will largely need to work alone, driving around to our various farm teams each week and checking on quality and packing SOP’s, updating inventories, distributing seed and discussing any issues they may have.
  
  We are a Singapore based company with a subsidiary in Malaysia. We grow high value vegetables, edible flowers and herbs for the Horeca markets in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
  
  Work hours for this position are flexible; though Thursday afternoons are mandatory.

• The successful applicant should have

• ·       Experience working in agriculture or a hotel kitchen; we will consider motivated and fast- learning individuals who do not have any experience.

• ·       Be proficient in written and spoken English

• ·       Spoken Bhasa Malaysia

• ·       Competent with Excel and other Office applications

• ·       A driver’s license and have your own car or motorbike.

• ·       Excellent communication skills

• ·       Excellent file keeping skills

• ·       Minimum education: Year 13. Diploma, university education/s are a bonus.

• ·       A happy, can-do attitude, be a willing team player and ability to problem solve.

• ·       Be resourceful

• ·       Respect for deadlines

Duties

·       One and a half days per week wage, or a retainer, depending on the individual

·       Travel to different farms in Cameron Highlands to chat with farm teams, check production and update on crops.

·       Check harvests and packing according to SOP’s

·       Record and update materials files, including seed and box files at least once per month

·       Source materials when requested and arrange delivery and distribution.

·       Source produce when requested, pack and send to the delivery depot.

·       Assist with communications and logistics when requested.

Must be based in Cameron Highlands.
This is a freelance position.
