Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

Possess 3-5 years of progressive experience in quantity surveying, with a proven track record in cost management and contract administration.

Demonstrated expertise in project management principles, including planning, execution, and monitoring of construction projects.

Strong understanding of procurement processes, including tendering, negotiation, and contract award.

Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies within construction projects.

Skilled in developing and managing project budgets, including cost forecasting, value engineering, and financial analysis.

Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage client and contractor relationships.

Proven team leadership capabilities, with experience in mentoring and guiding junior quantity surveyors.

Fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

Familiarity with local Malaysian construction regulations and practices is highly advantageous.

Oversee and manage all pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying activities for construction projects, ensuring adherence to budget and timeline.

Develop and implement cost management strategies, including cost planning, estimation, and value engineering, to optimize project profitability.

Administer construction contracts, including drafting, negotiating, and managing variations, claims, and final accounts.

Lead and mentor a team of quantity surveyors, fostering professional development and ensuring high-quality output.

Conduct thorough risk assessments related to project costs and contracts, and develop mitigation strategies.

Manage procurement processes, including tender evaluation, contractor selection, and negotiation of favorable terms.

Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including cash flow projections, cost reports, and profitability analyses for senior management.

Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project financials.

Ensure compliance with all relevant construction regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
