Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Multimedia, Communications, Design, Film, Media or a related field

• Relevant working experience in content, creative marketing, branding or social media

• Strong creative thinking and visual judgement

• Able to develop ideas rather than only follow instructions

• Good understanding of Instagram and Facebook content formats

• Able to plan Reels, carousels, project showcases and visual campaigns

• Comfortable working with photographers, videographers, designers and management

• Able to communicate clearly through visuals and words

• Basic copywriting ability

• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar tools

• Knowledge of Meta Ads or Google Ads is a strong advantage

• Experience in interior design, architecture, renovation, property, lifestyle or premium brands is an advantage

• Good command of English

• Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia copywriting ability is an advantage

About the Role

We are looking for a creative person who understands how to turn interior design and renovation projects into content that attracts the right clients.

This is not a role focused on posting random trends, copying viral videos or producing cheap-looking content for views.

Mankind handles higher-value residential and commercial projects. Our content needs to communicate trust, design quality, professionalism, project experience and attention to detail.

We already work with photographers and videographers. Your role is to develop the ideas, plan the content, direct the creative approach and turn the available media into strong content for Instagram, Facebook and other digital platforms.

You should be able to think about who the content is for, what the audience cares about and how each project can be presented in a more interesting way.

Responsibilities

• Develop content ideas and creative directions for the Mankind brand

• Plan content for Instagram, Facebook, Reels, Stories, carousels and other digital channels

• Turn completed projects into project showcases, design breakdowns, visual stories and educational content

• Work closely with photographers and videographers

• Prepare shoot briefs, shot lists, references and creative directions

• Help plan how projects, designers, clients and behind-the-scenes work should be presented

• Review raw photos and videos and select the strongest materials

• Write or coordinate captions, headlines, hooks and content copy

• Plan monthly and project-based content calendars

• Maintain a consistent premium and professional brand image

• Understand the type of clients Mankind wants to attract

• Create content that builds trust and generates enquiries

• Research competitors, audience interests and industry content

• Coordinate content approvals and publishing schedules

• Track content performance and identify what attracts quality enquiries

• Support campaign, promotion and brand-material development
