1-2 years of proven experience in accounting or a similar role.

Proficiency in financial reporting, including the preparation of accurate financial statements.

Experience with tax preparation and understanding of Malaysian tax regulations.

Strong bookkeeping skills, including managing accounts payable and receivable.

Familiarity with auditing procedures and principles.

Ability to assist in budgeting processes and financial planning.

Skilled in performing account reconciliations and identifying discrepancies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

Strong time management abilities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., MFRS).

Manage and oversee the day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

Perform bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns (corporate income tax, sales tax, service tax) and ensure compliance with Malaysian tax regulations.

Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis and providing insights to management.

Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Maintain fixed asset registers and perform periodic asset verification.

Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.

Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required by management.
