Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis, reporting, and budgeting.

Strong understanding and practical application of Production Management principles and Manufacturing Operations.

Demonstrated experience in Budget Management, including forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.

Proven ability in Workforce Planning, including staffing, scheduling, and performance management.

In-depth knowledge of Safety Regulations and best practices within a manufacturing setting.

Expertise in Inventory Management systems and strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.

Solid grasp of Quality Control methodologies and implementation to ensure product excellence.

Exceptional Team Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a diverse workforce.

Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and technical specifications.

Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with excellent communication skills in both languages.

Oversee and manage all daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of fibreglass products, aligning with company targets and standards.

Develop and implement strategic production plans, optimizing resource allocation, including workforce planning, machinery utilization, and material flow, to meet demand forecasts.

Manage the production budget effectively, monitoring expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring adherence to financial targets without compromising quality or safety.

Lead, mentor, and develop a production team of over 200 employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and high performance through effective team leadership and training.

Ensure strict adherence to all relevant safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety audits and implementing corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.

Implement and maintain robust quality control systems throughout the production process, from raw material inspection to finished goods, to guarantee product excellence and customer satisfaction.

Drive process improvement initiatives by analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing lean manufacturing principles and innovative solutions to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, procurement, and sales, to ensure seamless integration of production activities with overall business objectives and to troubleshoot any production-related issues.

Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, implementing effective inventory management strategies to minimize holding costs while ensuring adequate stock availability for uninterrupted production.

Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure accurate production of fibreglass components and products according to design requirements.
