Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Possess 1-2 years of relevant experience in software development, gained through internships, personal projects, or previous roles.

Proficient in core software development principles and practices, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).

Experience with backend development and designing/implementing APIs.

Familiarity with database management concepts and experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.

Skilled in using version control systems, particularly Git, for collaborative development.

Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.

Demonstrated ability in testing and debugging software to ensure quality and performance.

Exposure to cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with the team.

Design, develop, and implement scalable backend services and APIs that power uParcel's on-demand delivery platform, ensuring high availability and performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and features.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices in object-oriented programming and utilizing version control systems like Git.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to deployment, testing, and ongoing maintenance.

Optimize application performance, troubleshoot and debug complex issues, and implement solutions to enhance user experience and system efficiency.

Contribute to the design and management of databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient retrieval of information.

Explore and integrate cloud computing services (AWS/Azure/GCP) to build and deploy resilient and cost-effective solutions.

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, providing input on sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to foster a collaborative and productive development environment.
