Responsibilities:
1. Site Supervision & Coordination
- Lead and manage daily on-site operations, ensuring all work adheres to approved construction drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site workers to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure milestones are met; report any potential delays to the Project Manager immediately.
2. Quality Control & Technical Compliance
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of workmanship meets company standards and client requirements.
- Verify that all materials delivered to the site comply with the approved samples and technical specifications.
- Assist in resolving technical issues or discrepancies found on-site in consultation with engineers or architects.
3. Safety & Health Management
- Enforce strict adherence to Site Safety and Health (HSE) regulations and company policies.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and ensure all workers are equipped with proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures to prevent accidents.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate daily site diaries, progress reports, and manpower records.
- Manage site documentation, including Site Instructions (SI), Request for Inspection (RFI), and delivery orders.
- Assist in the preparation of progress claims by providing verified data on work completed.
5. Resource Management
- Monitor the usage of materials and equipment on-site to minimize wastage and prevent theft.
- Coordinate the timely mobilization and demobilization of plant and machinery.
Authorities:
- Liaise with Local Authority officers during Authority site visits.
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in High-Rise Building projects (e.g., Apartments, Condominiums, or Commercial Towers).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading complex technical drawings, familiar with modern formwork systems (e.g., Aluminium Formwork), and computer literate (MS Office/AutoCAD/MS Project).
- Competency: Valid CIDB Green Card holder; registered Construction Manager (CCPM) is an added advantage.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under high pressure.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
