Full Time Head of M&E Jobs, in Logikontrol Selangor - Maukerja

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in M&E construction.

Proven commercial experience in M&E tendering, budgeting, cost estimation, and contract administration.

Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical distribution, ELV, medical gas systems, and building services.

Hands-on experience in hospital construction projects is mandatory.

Strong understanding of hospital engineering requirements, healthcare facility standards, and critical building services.

Experience managing multiple M&E projects simultaneously.

Familiarity with Malaysian building regulations, UBBL, BOMBA, Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), JKR, and other relevant statutory requirements.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tender and project deadlines.

Able to work in Petaling Jaya.

Lead and manage the overall M&E department, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

Lead the preparation, review, and submission of technical and commercial tenders for M&E works.

Evaluate tender documents, specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.

Develop tender strategies, costing, budgeting, value engineering, and risk assessments.

Provide technical expertise on all Mechanical & Electrical engineering matters throughout the project lifecycle.

Oversee design coordination, engineering reviews, shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements.

Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.

Monitor project progress, costs, productivity, procurement, and resource allocation.

Review contract documents, identify commercial risks, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Lead contract negotiations, variation claims, cost control, and project profitability.

Ensure all M&E works comply with relevant Malaysian standards, statutory regulations, hospital requirements, and authority approvals.

Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff within the M&E department.

Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, project delivery, and operational efficiency.
