About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Lorry Driver cum Store Manager to handle both lorry driving and daily store operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of materials, as well as managing inventory, receiving and issuing materials, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring the store is properly organized.

Key Responsibilities :

Lorry Driver

• Drive company lorry safely for delivery and collection of construction materials
• Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to construction sites as required
• Load and unload materials safely and properly
• Check delivery orders and ensure the correct materials and quantities are delivered
• Collect materials and goods from suppliers
• Ensure the lorry is kept clean, safe, and in good working condition
• Perform basic checks on the vehicle and report any maintenance issues
• Ensure all required driving and vehicle documents are valid
• Follow road safety regulations and company procedures

Store Management

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the company store
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and goods
• Issue materials, tools, and equipment to site teams as required
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records
• Monitor stock levels and inform management when materials need to be replenished
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory checks
• Ensure materials and equipment are properly stored and organized
• Keep the store clean, safe, and well organized
• Record movement of materials in and out of the store
• Check returned tools, equipment, and materials
• Report damaged, missing, or excess materials to management
• Coordinate with site personnel, suppliers, and management regarding material requirements
• Maintain proper documentation for deliveries, collections, and stock movements

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in lorry driving and store/inventory management is REQUIRED
• Valid GDL driving license and appropriate license for the company lorry
• Previous experience driving a lorry is REQUIRED
• Experience managing a store, warehouse, or construction materials is an advantage
• Familiar with construction materials, tools, and equipment
• Good knowledge of stock control and inventory management
• Able to perform basic stock counting and record keeping
• Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy
• Physically fit and able to load/unload materials when required
• Able to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently
• Willing to travel to different construction sites when required
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge is an advantage

Important Requirement

Valid GDL licence and previous lorry driving experience are REQUIRED.

Experience in construction material handling, storekeeping, or warehouse management will be an added advantage.
