Requirements

  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.

  • Zero years of relevant experience required; willingness to learn is essential.

  • Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food safety principles.

  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

  • Passion for food and a desire to develop culinary skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and portioning ingredients.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.

  • Learn and execute basic cooking techniques under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.

  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and receiving of supplies.

  • Support the kitchen team during service, ensuring timely and efficient preparation of dishes.

  • Familiarize yourself with menu items and preparation methods.

  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and areas.
