We are looking for a hands-on Technicianto support our Production team inchiller testing and compressor rebuilding. The role involves setting up and testing chillers, assembling and disassembling compressors, identifying faults and supporting daily production activities.

• Minimum Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC or related technical field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with hands-on experience in HVAC, chiller, compressor or manufacturing will have an added advantage.

• Carry out daily chiller testing and compressor rebuilding activities.

• Monitor the chiller testing schedule and ensure testing is completed according to plan.

• Set up testing equipment such as water hoses, power cables, gauges and temperature sensors.

• Conduct chiller testing independently after completing the required training.

• Assemble and disassemble compressors with the team.

• Identify compressor problems and prepare basic failure analysis reports.

• Check failed compressor parts and determine whether they can be reused or need to be replaced.

• Coordinate compressor rebuilding schedules to meet planned completion dates.

• Work with the Material Planner and suppliers to ensure required parts are available.

• Support colleagues and supervisors in daily production activities.

• Follow all safety and health requirements, especially when working with electrical equipment.

• Be willing to work with 3-phase electrical systems when required.

• Support production activities after normal working hours, weekends or public holidays when necessary.

• Perform other duties assigned by the Production Manager/HOD.
