- Regulatory Compliance & Advisory: Monitor regulatory developments (particularly Bank Negara Malaysia guidelines), assess their impact on business operations, and provide practical compliance advice on new initiatives and partnerships.
- AML/CFT & Sanctions Support: Assist in executing robust Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) controls, including Customer Due Diligence (CDD/EDD), sanctions screening, and periodic risk assessments.
- Compliance Monitoring & Reporting: Conduct regular compliance reviews and thematic testing, track the remediation of identified gaps, and prepare accurate compliance reports for management committees and regulatory submissions.
- Governance & Policy Management: Draft, review, and maintain the company’s compliance policies, procedures, and obligation registers to ensure continuous alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, or corporate governance, preferably within BNM-regulated or financial institutions.
