About the role

As a Sales Engineer at Eye Gateway Communications Sdn. Bhd. you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and building strong relationships with valued clients. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, identifying new business opportunities and securing sales.
• Provide excellent customer service and support, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the accurate specification and delivery of products and services.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends, and use this knowledge to provide tailored solutions.
• Contribute to the development of the sales strategy and assist in the implementation of sales initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular sales reporting.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in a sales or technical sales role, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering industry
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients
• Technical knowledge and understanding of engineering products and solutions
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address customer needs
• Degree in engineering, business, or a related field
• Frequent travel
