Role Description This is a full-time Business Development Manager role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients and partners, and strengthen Aworldtec’s presence in key markets. This role involves preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with internal technical and operations teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements. The individual will analyze market trends, monitor competitor activities, and provide input into strategic planning to support sustainable growth. The role also includes reporting on sales performance, maintaining accurate pipelines and forecasts, and representing Aworldtec at industry events, meetings, and presentations.

Qualifications

• Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and account management.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, with solid stakeholder management and networking capabilities.
• Competence in market research, data analysis, and strategic planning to identify growth opportunities and inform decision-making.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey technical and commercial value clearly.
• Experience in engineering, energy, industrial services, or related sectors is highly advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with strong self-organization, time management, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in standard office software and CRM tools to manage pipelines, reports, and client records.
• Demonstrated ability to work ethically, meet targets, and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
