Full Time Merchandising Executive Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,000 in Syarikat Yoong Onn WP Kuala Lumpur - Maukerja

• Diploma/Degree in Merchandising, Business, Textile, Fashion, or related field.

• 1–4 years of working experience in merchandising (preferably in home textiles, bedding, or soft furnishings).

• Strong knowledge of fabrics, textile production, and product development.

• Excellent negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in Mandarin is necessary to interact with international Supplier
  

Product Development & Planning

• Research market trends, consumer insights, and competitor products in bedding.

• Assist in the development of seasonal bedding collections, including design, fabric selection, colors, and packaging.

• Ensure new product samples are developed on time and meet quality standards.

Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Source fabrics, trims, and packaging from local and overseas suppliers.

• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and quality requirements.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.

Order & Production Coordination

• Manage purchase orders from placement to delivery, ensuring timelines are met.

• Monitor production quality and resolve any issues or delays.

• Ensure products comply with company specifications and quality standards.

Merchandising & Inventory Control

• Plan stock levels and monitor inventory to meet sales requirements.

• Work closely with sales and marketing teams on product launches, promotions, and in-store displays.

• Support clearance planning for slow-moving items.

Sales & Marketing Support

• Provide product training and information to the sales team.

• Prepare product specifications, catalogs, and display guidelines.

• Gather customer feedback and recommend product improvements.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare reports on sales performance, stock movement, and margins.

• Analyze bestsellers and slow-movers to support assortment planning.

• Contribute to pricing and promotional strategies.
