Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accounting Manager role based in Shah Alam. The Senior Accounting Manager will lead the accounting team, oversee daily accounting operations, and ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports. Responsibilities include supervising general ledger activities, reviewing journal entries, managing accounts closing, and monitoring fixed assets records and depreciation schedules. The role also involves coordinating with internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and supporting finance leadership with budget preparation, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis. The Senior Accounting Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, improve internal controls and processes, and provide guidance and training to accounting staff.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in preparing and reviewing financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Candidates should possess solid finance and analytical skills to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in journal entries and general ledger accounting, ensuring accurate and timely postings.
• Candidates should possess knowledge and hands-on experience in fixed assets accounting, including asset capitalization, tracking, and depreciation.
• Candidates should knowledge on inventory management and analysis.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field are preferred.
• Several years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including team leadership or supervisory responsibilities, are expected.
• Strong understanding of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, work under deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
