Requirements
- Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate from store level up to Facilities Technician
- Trained in maintenance related jobs and able to troubleshoot
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical and other systems
- Able to use simple hand tools such as screwdrivers and cutters effectively
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Able to work independently and in a team with a sense of responsibility
- SKM or SPM or a Certificate in electrical or building maintenance or a relevant field will be a plus
Responsibilities
- Check equipment and operating systems and correct them where necessary
- Identify potential equipment failure or unsafe conditions and report to the Food Quality Manager
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration on all equipment such as the grill and fryer and ice machine
- Perform daily and weekly and monthly cleaning of kitchen equipment
- Report breakdowns and follow up until the job is completed
- Maintain electrical systems including replacing light bulbs and sockets
- Maintain refrigeration systems including condenser cleaning and filter replacement
- Ensure energy efficiency and proper energy management in the store
- Follow all restaurant procedures and policies on food safety and sanitation
- Assist in new restaurant openings and training when required
