Full Time SAFETY OFFICER Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,500 in Liwee Transport Selangor - Maukerja

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures in line with Malaysian OHS regulations and company standards.

• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

• Oversee and manage all aspects of occupational health and safety, ensuring a safe working environment for all 21 employees.

• Develop and deliver effective safety training programs to all staff, covering topics such as hazard communication, emergency procedures, and safe work practices.

• Lead and participate in incident investigations, determining root causes and implementing preventative measures to avoid recurrence.

• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant safety regulations and compliance standards, maintaining accurate records and documentation.

• Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including drills and training for fire, medical emergencies, and other critical situations.

• Liaise with external regulatory bodies and authorities as required, representing the company in safety-related matters.

• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization, encouraging employee participation and feedback.

• Manage the procurement and maintenance of safety equipment and supplies, ensuring they are readily available and in good working order.

*1. LORRY MAINTENANCE & SAFETY*

• Monitor Vehicle Daily Checklists and ensure all reported defects are repaired promptly, including Puspakom inspections.

• Provide safety tools to new employees and monitor the condition and replacement of safety tools for existing employees. (included fire extinguster)

• Record lorry defect reports from drivers/foremen and inform the Store Department for spare parts ordering and repair scheduling.

*2. DRIVER SAFETY & MONITORING*

• Conduct safety induction for new drivers covering proper load lashing, loading procedures, LOGFLOW usage and lorry maintenance.

• Monitor driver discipline, especially speeding, and contact drivers immediately when violations are detected.

• Ensure inspection and operational photos are properly uploaded to LOGFLOW. (repeat photos)

• Monitor loading activities to ensure loads are within the permitted weight limit, properly secured and using the correct lashing tools.

• Monitor drivers' compliance with Journey Plans, driving hours and overtime limits.
