Full Time Senior Test Automation Engineer Jobs, in AmBank Group Selangor - Maukerja

Job Purpose

The Senior Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for the following:

1. To lead the design, development and execution of automated testing solutions for identified AmBank's applications to increase testing efficiency and reduce cost.
2. To drive continuous improvement in test automation frameworks and practices, enabling efficient, scalable, and maintainable testing processes aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1.Engage with business stakeholders, SMEs, and project teams to understand requirements, address testing challenges, and coordinate automation testing deliverables across workstreams.

2.Provide technical leadership and user support for AmBank's software testing tools, including guidance, training, and issue resolution.

3.Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust, and reusable automated test scripts and frameworks for identified AmBank applications.

4.Drive continuous improvement of test automation strategies, frameworks, processes, and CI/CD integration to enhance testing efficiency, quality, and compliance.

5.Administer, maintain, and optimize AmBank's software testing tools and platforms to ensure reliability, performance, and effective governance.

6.Evaluate and recommend emerging testing technologies, including AI-assisted testing solutions, to strengthen the Bank's automation capabilities and innovation agenda.

Qualifications & Skills (including mandated licenses where applicable)

1. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with OpenText testing solutions, including UFT One and ALM.
2. Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks; banking or financial services experience is an advantage.
3. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, automation tools, and test frameworks.
4. Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and practices is an added advantage.
5. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTM, CMST, CSQA) are highly desirable.
6. Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as VBScript, Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, C, and Selenium-based automation.
7. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
8. Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
