Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.

CAD OR CAM will be a plus.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Ability to set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes, including tool selection, loading, and calibration.

Experience with various materials and machining processes, ensuring precision and quality.

Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures within a workshop setting.

Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve machining issues efficiently.

Familiarity with quality control procedures and the use of measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).

Ability to perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery.

Operate and maintain CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications and blueprints.

Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot CNC lathe machines, including loading programs, selecting appropriate tooling, and adjusting machine parameters.

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate machining of parts.

Perform quality control checks on finished products, using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Identify and resolve any machining issues or defects promptly to minimize scrap and rework.

Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.

Perform routine maintenance and lubrication on CNC lathe machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Document production data, including machine settings, material used, and quality inspection results.
