Lead supervisory teams responsible for the oversight of assigned NBFIs and strategic institutional investors, ensuring effective identification, assessment and mitigation of prudential, governance, operational and market-related risks.
Supervisory Management
- Lead relationship management and supervision of assigned entities.
- Assess governance, risk management, financial resilience, investment activities and compliance frameworks
- Review institutional risk profiles and recommend supervisory ratings.
Examination and Reviews
- Plan and oversee focused reviews, thematic reviews and supervisory engagements.
- Evaluate entities' responses to supervisory findings and monitor remediation efforts.
- Recommend supervisory measures where deficiencies or elevated risks are identified.
Risk Surveillance
- Monitor emerging sectoral and institution-specific risks.
- Evaluate significant events, including governance issues, cyber incidents, operational disruptions and market events.
- Conduct forward-looking assessments of potential systemic implications.
Policy and Framework Development
- Contribute to the development of supervisory methodologies, risk assessment frameworks and supervisory policies.
- Lead research and benchmarking exercises on institutional investor and NBFI regulatory frameworks.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage senior management and board representatives of supervised entities.
- Coordinate with internal SC departments and external regulatory agencies as required.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor Managers and supervisory officers.
- Review work outputs and ensure quality and consistency of supervisory assessments.
