Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the SHE/OSH team in implementing and monitoring workplace safety and health programs.
- Support daily workplace safety inspections and follow-up on identified unsafe conditions and corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing and updating HIRARC, EAI, Risk Assessment, SOPs and other OSH-related documents.
- Support chemical safety activities, including chemical inventory, SDS management and chemical handling requirements.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with applicable OSH legal requirements and DOSH/JKKP requirements.
- Participate in incident/accident investigation, preparation of reports and tracking of corrective actions.
- Assist in organizing and conducting OSH training, toolbox meetings, safety campaigns and awareness programs.
- Support emergency response activities, fire drills, evacuation drills and other safety exercises.
- Assist with data collection, preparation of monthly SHE reports, inspection records and safety performance statistics.
- Support internal audits, legal compliance assessments and external audit preparation.
- Participate in SHE projects and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the company's safety culture.
- Perform other SHE-related duties and projects assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Safety & Health, Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
- Good understanding of basic OSH principles and workplace safety requirements.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA, DOSH/JKKP requirements, HIRARC and workplace safety practices is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Willing to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment and conduct workplace inspections.
- Proactive, responsible and willing to learn.
