Requirements
Currently office at KIP KEPONG, will move to new office at Damansara Perdana by Dec26-Jan27
Proven experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar accounting role, with 1-2 years of hands-on experience.
Proficiency in financial reporting, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Strong understanding and practical experience in budget management, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Demonstrated experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero) for daily transaction processing and financial record-keeping.
Solid knowledge of tax compliance regulations and experience in preparing and filing tax returns.
Familiarity with auditing procedures and ability to assist in internal and external audits.
Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex formula creation.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Assist in the development and management of the annual budget, including forecasting, variance analysis, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions and managing cash flow effectively.
Support tax compliance activities, including preparation of tax returns, liaising with tax authorities, and staying updated on relevant tax legislation.
Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and support to auditors.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data through regular reconciliations and data entry.
Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel extensively for financial analysis, reporting, and process automation.
Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information, resolve discrepancies, and provide financial guidance.
Identify and implement process improvements within the finance department to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.
