Job Description

Responsibilities

To deliver application solutions that meet business needs, leading requirements definition, delivery and release of assigned initiatives within Application Product Delivery, managing vendors, contracts, procurement and budget, and safeguarding application resilience, working through cross functional and vendor teams.


Main Accountabilities

Application Project

  • Delivery plan and baselined schedule/cost per initiative; release plan; UAT sign-off; go-live and post-implementation review; signed handover pack to Application Support
  • URS baselined and signed off; solution option paper with cost, risk and architecture comparison; requirement-to-test traceability matrix
  • Contract control checklist cleared with Legal and Procurement; vendor performance review records (VPR); SLA and issue register; variation and exit documentation
  • Project team structure and RACI per initiative; resource commitments agreed with resource owners; engagement plan, and decision log; onboarding and direction setting for vendor resources
  • Current BIA and DRP per owned application; availability requirements documented against the BCM framework; DR test participation and results; risk register with dated mitigations
  • Procurement papers, specifications and evaluation records for packages up to RM1.5 million; award recommendation and justification
  • Annual budget submission for owned initiatives; monthly utilisation and variance reports; reforecast and accrual input
  • Identify areas of improvement for capacity building, considering SC’s competency framework and the demand of the capital market
  • Technology evaluation and option papers; obsolescence and lifecycle input for owned applications; management and committee reporting packs


Education / Certification

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business Administrations or Computer Science/ Information Technology
  • Degree in any other relevant from an accredited institution
  • Effective project management skills – contracting, negotiating, planning, executing, and maintaining
  • Familiarity with software development methodology and IT governance

4-5 years of working experience
