JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Supervisor and Cooks in preparing and serving quality meals
Receive, sort and store food ingredients and kitchen supplies
Prepare and cook rice, porridge and desserts according to the menu
Prepare meat, fish, vegetables and fruits
Mince, blend or puree food for residents with special dietary needs
Prepare, load and clean food trays, equipment and service trolleys
Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment
Dispose of kitchen waste properly
Assist with receiving stocks and checking kitchen equipment and fittings
Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1 year of cooking experience in a kitchen environment, such as a restaurant or hawker centre
Food Hygiene Certificate (NEA)
Willing to learn new cooking skills
Good team player and able to work well with others
WORKING HOURS
• D0: 5:00am – 1:00pm
• D1: 5:30am – 1:30pm
• D2+: 8:15am – 4:15pm
• E1: 10:45am – 6:45pm
