Full Time Junior Audit Associate – Audit, Accounting - Tax Jobs, Salary up to SGD 4,000 in SUN ASSURANCE PAC Central Region (Singapore) - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in the performance of statutory audits and other assurance engagements for a portfolio of mainly small and medium-sized clients.

2. Assist in audit planning, fieldwork and completion, including:

o vouching and verification of supporting documents;

o substantive testing and analytical procedures;

o preparation of audit working papers;

o preparation and follow-up of audit confirmation requests;

o reviewof accounting records and supporting schedules; and

o documentation and follow-up of audit matters with clients.

3. Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and regulatory requirements.

4. Liaise with clients to obtain accounting records, supporting documents and information required for the completion of assignments.

5. Assist in identifying accounting and auditissues and discuss findings with the audit senior/manager or engagementpartner.

6. Where required, assist with

accounting assignments

, including bookkeeping, preparation of management accounts, bank reconciliations and year-end closing schedules.

7. Where required, assist with

Singaporecorporate tax and GST assignments

, including preparation of basic tax computations, ECI/Form C-S supporting schedules and GST returns, undersupervision.

8. Perform other accounting, audit, tax or related professional assignments as may be required from time to time.

9. Maintain proper documentation and ensure assignments are completed within agreed deadlines.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in

Accountancy,Accounting & Finance or equivalent

.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidateswith

up to 2 years of relevant audit/accounting experience

will also beconsidered.

• Candidates pursuing

ACCA, Singapore CAQualification or other recognised professional accounting qualifications

are welcome.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles andfinancial statements.
• Proficient in

Microsoft Excel and MicrosoftOffice

.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently after appropriate guidance and also work effectively as part of a small team.
• Responsible, organised and willing to learn.
• Good attention to detail and able to manage deadlines.
• Willing to attend audit fieldwork at clients'premises when required.
• Training and guidance will be provided to candidates without prior audit experience.
