Key Responsibilities
- Manage project cost control, budget, cash flow, and cost forecasting.
- Prepare and coordinate tender and bid submissions, including quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Ensure tender submissions meet all requirements and deadlines.
- Prepare Bill Of Quantity, Letters of Award, Work Orders, measurements, and valuations.
- Prepare, coordinate, and manage interim progress claims and final accounts.
- Monitor and manage variations, claims, and other contractual entitlements.
- Review and manage subcontractor progress claims, valuations, payments, variations, and final accounts.
- Administer subcontract agreements and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Prepare and issue contractual notices, letters, and correspondence within the required timelines.
- Monitor contract administration, construction claims, and contractual issues.
- Work closely with site teams, engineers, and planners to ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Contract Manager / Head of Department.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Experience in earthwork, infrastructure, drainage, and roads are highly preferred.
- Proficient in cost management, strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Proficient in MS Projects, AutoCAD, Excel and Word.
- Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively with project and site teams.
