About us
We are recruiting an HR and Administration Assistance to join our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our organisation's human resources and administrative functions. As HR and Administration professional, you will be responsible for managing a diverse range of HR and administrative responsibilities that directly contribute to the smooth operation of our business and the wellbeing of our workforce. This role is essential to ensuring our company maintains effective HR practices, compliance with employment regulations, and operational efficiency across all departments.
Key responsibilities
Assists in managing the full HR lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, talent movement, and terminations. Coordinates documentation for performance appraisals, probation reviews, and employee development.
Maintains and updates employment contracts, HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks. Ensures proper and secure management of personnel files, databases, and confidential records.
Ensures company compliance with local labour laws, policies, and internal standards. Liaises with government authorities and external stakeholders on HR and administrative matters. Coordinates with finance and legal teams to guarantee timely statutory fillings.
Assist in handling employee relations matters, disciplinary matters, investigations, domestic inquiries, and industrial relations documentation.
Oversee office administration, company assets, insurance, tenancy, utilities, and maintenance records.
Ensure proper filing, tracking, and safekeeping of corporate and administrative documentation.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
CIDB & Certification Tracking:Coordinate and maintain records of mandatory CIDB Green Cards.
safety supervisor credentials, and specialized machinery operator licenses required for active government sites.
What we're looking for
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (candidates with 1-3 years of relevant experience will have an added advantage)
Knowledge of payroll processing and labour regulations is an advantage.
Responsible, reliable and able to work independently.
Proactive problem-solver with a strong willingness to support team members.
Proficient in HR Management Systems (HRMS), Microsoft Office, recruitment best practices, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
