We are seeking an experienced and responsible Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate the company’s day-to-day business operations. The company is principally engaged in the wholesale trade of a variety of goods without a dominant product, with the manufacture of other food products as its secondary business activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the company’s daily operations and ensure efficient business processes.
• Plan, implement and improve operational procedures and internal workflows.
• Coordinate wholesale trading activities, including purchasing, sales orders, suppliers, inventory and deliveries.
• Oversee and coordinate food manufacturing-related operations where required.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, logistics providers and other business partners.
• Monitor inventory levels, purchasing requirements, operating costs and business performance.
• Coordinate between sales, administration, warehouse, production and logistics functions.
• Supervise employees, allocate duties and monitor operational performance.
• Support management in developing new customers, suppliers and business opportunities.
• Assist with quotations, contracts, commercial negotiations and customer account management.
• Prepare operational, sales and management reports.
• Identify operational problems and implement appropriate solutions and process improvements.
• Ensure business operations comply with applicable Singapore regulations, workplace requirements and company policies.
• Perform other management duties reasonably required for the company’s operations.

Job Requirements

• Relevant professional qualification preferred.
• Relevant experience in operations management, wholesale trading, food manufacturing, supply chain, business administration or related functions.
• Good understanding of purchasing, sales, inventory, logistics and general business operations.
• Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers and internal departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general business administration systems.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple operational priorities.
• Responsible, organized and detail-oriented.
• Candidates will be assessed based on skills, qualifications, relevant experience and ability to perform the role.
