Responsibilities
The Architecture Engineer is responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and supporting the implementation of architectural works throughout the construction project lifecycle. The role ensures architectural drawings, specifications, materials, and site works comply with approved designs, contractual requirements, authority regulations, quality standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
* Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and construction details before implementation.
* Coordinate architectural works with structural, civil, M&E, ID, landscape, and other relevant disciplines.
* Identify drawing discrepancies, design conflicts, and constructability issues and raise RFIs where required.
* Ensure architectural works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality requirements.
* Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the progress and quality of architectural works.
* Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to resolve technical and construction issues.
* Monitor architectural subcontractors' performance, workmanship, manpower, and progress.
* Review material submissions, samples, mock-ups, technical data, and shop drawings before consultant approval.
* Ensure approved materials and finishes are properly implemented on site.
* Coordinate architectural interfaces including walls, ceilings, flooring, doors, windows, façade, waterproofing, finishes, sanitary fittings, and built-in elements.
* Attend consultant, technical, coordination, and site meetings as required.
* Monitor outstanding architectural works, defects, and rectification activities.
* Assist in preparing and maintaining inspection requests, RFIs, material approvals, method statements, progress reports, and other technical documentation.
* Coordinate inspections with consultants and relevant authorities.
* Support testing, commissioning, handover, and defect rectification activities.
* Ensure architectural works comply with project safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
* Maintain updated records of approved drawings, revisions, submissions, and site instructions.
* Assist in preparing as-built drawings and handover documentation.
* Perform other project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or Construction Manager.
## Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Preferably *3–5 years of relevant construction experience* in architectural or building works.
* Experience in commercial, high-rise, infrastructure, healthcare, hospital, or large-scale building projects is an advantage.
* Strong understanding of architectural drawings, construction details, materials, finishes, and building coordination.
* Able to interpret architectural, structural, and M&E drawings.
* Familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
* Good understanding of construction sequencing, quality control, and site coordination.
* Strong problem-solving and technical coordination skills.
* Able to communicate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
* Willing to work on-site and manage multiple priorities within project deadlines.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
