JOB PURPOSE:
To safeguard Distribution Center's warehouse premises, assets, personnel, and inventory by monitoring security systems, controlling access, and ensuring strict compliance with security and dispatch procedures across all levels.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Security & Surveillance: Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, conduct patrols, and respond to security breaches and incidents promptly.
- Access & Screening Control: Screen all personnel, visitors, and contractors via VMS, WTMD and HHMD. Maintain accountability of all persons and materials entering/exiting.
- Goods & Dispatch Oversight: Verify, count, scan and document all inbound and outbound goods, PIDs and shipping documents to prevent discrepancies and losses.
- Reporting & Coordination: Maintain daily journals, deployment records and security logs. Coordinate with supervisors, stations, and forwarders to ensure seamless operations.
- Operational Support: Provide relief at static posts and support peak-hour operations at screening, outbound and inbound stations as required.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems at assigned levels and respond to alerts.
- Conduct 10 daily internal and external patrols and security checks on doors, gates and access points.
- Screen all personnel exiting via turnstiles using HHMD and operate WTMD for security checks.
- Register visitors and delivery personnel on VMS and notify relevant teams of forwarder arrivals.
- Oversee loading/dispatch, verify Gate Pass and shipping documents, and perform daily counts of outbound goods exceeding 3000 units.
- Count, scan and document transfer of PIDs/boxes between Level 1, 3 and 5 with proper documentation.
- Operate roller shutters and ensure warehouse always remains secured.
- Maintain and submit daily journals for Level 1 and Level 5 to the Security Supervisor.
- Provide relief coverage at Security Counter, Screening, Inbound, Outbound and Counting stations, including extended hours during peak periods.
- Assist with counting, scanning and verifying goods and upholding all security protocols and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- MIN 3 GCE “N”/”O” Level/ NITEC or WPLNSOA 5 and above for 5 modules (Writing, Speaking, Reading, Listening and Numeracy).
- Willing to learn
- Holding valid PLRD Security License
- Working arrangement: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (inclusive of 2 scheduled breaks).
- Occasional weekend overtime may be required based on operational needs, which will be scheduled via a team roster.
