Full Time Senior Project Engineer (C-S) Jobs, in Kelington Group Berhad Selangor - Maukerja

Responsibilities

• Review construction and shop drawings, as well as project specifications, to ensure compliance with design and contractual requirements;
• Prepare and submit method statements, Requests for Information (RFIs), and material approval documents for consultant review and approval;
• Coordinate with consultants and his/her superiors to resolve technical discrepancies and clarify design issues;
• Verify that all subcontractor technical submissions meet project specifications and standards;
• Ensure subcontractor works are executed in compliance with QA/QC procedures and safety regulations;
• Maintain and update logs for drawings, RFIs, material approvals, and site instructions for proper documentation control;
• Assist in testing and commissioning activities, and in the preparation and submission of as-built drawings;
• Contribute to tender technical proposals, including manpower planning, site logistics, construction sequencing and scheduling, machinery allocation, and material specifications;
• Monitor site manpower, resources, and work sequences to achieve targeted progress and productivity;
• Assist in implementing and monitoring the organization’s Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health (OSHAS) management plans, ensuring compliance at site level;
• Coordinate internally with MEP engineers to manage project interfaces and scope of work alignment;
• Support progress claim verification for subcontractors and assist in the preparation of weekly progress reports;
• Perform any additional task that assigned by Management or Superiors when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, or equivalent certification;
• Minimum 3 years working experience in similar field (industrial construction);
• Able to travel to Peninsular Malaysia and Kuching, Sarawak;
• Good leadership;
• Able to coordinate effectively with all levels.
