Retail Associate Jobs, Salary up to SGD 2,200 in CACAO SOCIAL PTE. LTD. Central Region (Singapore) - Maukerja

Purpose of the Role

Create memorable guest interactions through warm hospitality, strong product knowledge and thoughtful retail service, while supporting Mr Bucket’s cacao experiences and wider guest journey.

Associates will be cross trained across Retail and Experiences based on operational needs. Independent facilitation of experiences will be assigned only after the Associate has received the appropriate training and demonstrated the required competency.

Key Responsibilities

Retail & Guest Service

• Welcome and engage guests warmly and professionally.

• Build strong product knowledge and confidently explain Mr Bucket’s chocolates, gifting options, seasonal products and Asian cacao story.

• Understand guest preferences and recommend suitable products and gifting solutions.

• Identify appropriate opportunities for upselling and cross-selling while maintaining a genuine and guest-focused approach.

• Process POS transactions accurately and assist with packing purchases and gifting orders.

• Maintain attractive, clean, organised and well-stocked retail displays.

• Support inventory counts, stock replenishment, stock movement and seasonal merchandising.

• Handle customer enquiries professionally and escalate guest concerns to the Supervisor or Manager when required.

Experiences Support & Facilitation

• Support the preparation and execution of tours, tastings, workshops, DIY experiences, corporate programmes and special events.

• Assist with setup, material preparation, equipment checks and ensuring the experience space is guest-ready.

• Welcome and assist experience guests with registration, seating, briefing and other pre-experience requirements.

• Support facilitators with programme timing, guest engagement, group flow and operational requirements.

• Facilitate assigned experiences independently once appropriately trained and assessed as competent to do so.

• When facilitating, communicate clearly and confidently while sharing Mr Bucket’s cacao and product stories in an engaging manner.

• Ensure guests remain engaged, comfortable and supported throughout the experience.

• Assist with cleaning, teardown, restocking and resetting the space following experiences.

• Support corporate events, workshops, gifting activities and special activations when required.

Teamwork & Cross-Training

• Participate actively in training and development across Retail and Experiences.

• Crosstrain in Experience Facilitation and other relevant operational areas based on business and development needs.

• Support Floor and Bar operations when required and appropriately trained.

• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth and consistent end-to-end guest experience.

• Contribute to cleanliness, organisation and operational readiness across shared guest areas.

• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and communicate proactively with Supervisors and Managers.

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant hospitality, F&B, retail or customer-facing experience is preferred but not essential.

• Genuine interest in hospitality, chocolate, cacao and learning about Mr Bucket’s products and experiences.

• Warm, approachable and comfortable engaging with guests.

• Strong willingness to learn and develop product knowledge, retail sales and facilitation skills.

• Comfortable communicating with individuals and willing to develop confidence in engaging groups.

• Commercially aware and comfortable recommending products and identifying appropriate sales opportunities.

• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.

• Proactive, dependable and a collaborative team player.

Working Conditions

• 5-day work week on a rotating roster.

• Weekend and public holiday work is required.

• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.

• May be required to support events and operational needs outside standard service periods.

• Cross-department support may be required depending on operational needs and appropriate training.
