Job Responsibilities
The Services required are set out as follows:

• Provide technical and laboratory support for PET and CET classes,
practical sessions, assessments, projects and events.

• Prepare and set up laboratories, workshops, design studios, equipment,
chemicals, materials and software for classes and practical sessions.

• Assist lecturers with experiments, demonstrations, trial runs, field
lessons and technical activities.

• Support staff and student projects, including preparation of
equipment/materials, procurement and supervising students during
technical work.

• Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance and repair coordination for
laboratory and technical equipment, including liaising with external
vendors.

• Manage inventory, assets, equipment loans, stocktaking, procurement
and software licence tracking.

• Maintain accurate equipment, inventory, maintenance, repair and vendor
records.

• Provide IT support for PCs, monitors, projectors, printers and other
IT equipment.

• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, housekeeping, safety standards and
lab readiness.

• Support Open House, RED Camp, Graduation Showcase and other LSCT
events, including weekend activities and equipment transportation/setup.

• Act as Fire Warden and participate in fire safety exercises.

• Provide technical support for life sciences, biotechnology, chemistry,
pharmaceutical, environmental, horticulture and engineering-related
courses.

• May be exposed to chemicals and biohazard materials and must follow
relevant safety procedures.
