Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and company standards.
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet expectations.
Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes.
Monitor food stock levels and inform management of inventory requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
Store food ingredients properly and minimize food wastage.
Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality.
Work closely with kitchen staff and service team to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with receiving and checking food deliveries.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or similar role.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good time management and multitasking skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Relevant culinary certification is an advantage.
