IT Project Manager, Enterprise Test Management
6 Months contract/Remote to be based in Singapore
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide testing across complex banking transformation programmes. The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end test lifecycle, including test strategy, governance, planning, execution, defect management, readiness assessment, cutover support and production validation across multiple business and technology workstreams. The successful candidate will coordinate business, operations, technology and vendor teams to ensure solutions are delivered with the required levels of quality, stability and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage programme-wide test strategy, governance, integrated test plans, schedules, resources and reporting.
Lead SIT, End-to-End Testing, UAT, Regression Testing, Data Migration Testing, Performance Testing and Operational Readiness Testing across multiple applications and business domains.
Manage test scope, requirements traceability, test coverage, environments, test data and cross-system dependencies.
Drive defect triage, prioritisation, resolution and quality gating across internal teams and vendors.
Oversee data migration and reconciliation testing to validate the completeness, accuracy and integrity of migrated data.
Monitor testing risks, issues and readiness, providing clear status reporting to programme governance and senior stakeholders.
Support cutover rehearsals, go-live readiness assessments, production verification and hypercare activities.
Experience and Qualifications
10+ years of banking technology delivery experience, including at least 5 years leading testing for large-scale banking transformation programmes.
Proven experience managing programme-level testing across multiple applications, vendors and delivery teams.
Strong experience in core banking, payments, treasury, lending, trade finance, digital banking, data and regulatory-reporting platforms.
Strong understanding of banking operations, transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, accounting, regulatory reporting and end-of-day processing.
Expertise in test governance, defect management, quality assurance, requirements traceability and implementation readiness.
PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred.
