Responsibilities
About the role
Responsible for the operation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of the complete palm fiber and wood pellet production line equipment, ensuring continuous, stable, and efficient production.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement equipment inspection and preventive maintenance plans, manage and supervise maintenance technicians, and standardize equipment operating and maintenance procedures for production operators
Troubleshoot issues such as die hole blockage, unstable pellet density, and high defective-product rates
Continuously optimize the production-line process flow and equipment coordination, including shredding, dewatering, drying, material discharge uniformity, and pelletizing, with the objective of increasing production capacity and reducing equipment downtime and failure rates
Manage wear parts and spare parts, develop appropriate spare-parts inventory plans, control maintenance costs, and organize and coordinate regular major equipment overhauls
Work closely with electrical personnel to troubleshoot power-load, motor, and other electrical-related equipment issues, as well as identify and address potential equipment and workplace safety hazards within the production workshop
Maintain accurate equipment breakdown and maintenance records, analyze equipment failure data and recurring issues, conduct equipment operation and maintenance skills training for operators, and perform other equipment-related duties as assigned
About you
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
3–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical equipment maintenance, production-line equipment, plant engineering, or industrial machinery
Hands-on experience with pellet mills, ring dies, rollers, shredders, dewatering equipment, dryers, conveyors, and related production-line equipment
Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment inspection, and repair
Experience in equipment failure analysis and root-cause troubleshooting
Ability to manage and supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate maintenance activities
Good understanding of spare parts, wear parts, inventory planning, and maintenance cost control
Able to work closely with electrical and production teams to resolve equipment and production issues
Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Able to work independently and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and urgent maintenance issues
